1990 Range Rover
Crash damage repair and service
This 1990 Range Rover is from Wyoming and has some semi-serious front end damage. Unfortunately the damage is more than cosmetic with the bumper and fender, it damaged the Rover's steel body shell, but fortunately the customer brought it to ECR so the repairs are not a problem.
The first step with any quality repair is to tear down the damaged area and look for any hidden damage. In this image you can see the fender has been removed as well as the damaged front end parts. You can clearly see the steel body shell damage, so we will be removing that section of the shell and welding in a new section.
With the old section removed and the new one in place the shell dimensions are checked to make sure that all the fenders and such will line up perfectly. Once it is double checked, the new shell section is fully welded in place, primed and painted. ECR even goes as far to make sure the factory decals are replaced under the hood for a repair that only the best expert cold ever tell was done. It is that attention to detail and quality of work that keeps us in demand from customers who demand the very best.
Here you can see the completed repairs, looking great. You'll notice that the Rover now has an ARB bumper. ECR suggested that this customer could go with an ARB upgraded bumper for less money than it would cost to replace the factory bumper and air dam. We make sure to give you all the options and watch out for you and your Rover's best interests.
The completed project looks great and is rebuilt to better than new standards and even it got an upgrade or two along the way. While the Rover was in our shop we also did a complete service including new brakes, battery (another shop had installed an incorrect battery and isolated the side terminals on the battery with duct tape, a very dangerous situation) oil and filter and engine service. It will is now ready for delivery back to the owner.
