Thank you for your interest in East Coast Rover Co. (also known as ECR). The pages
that follow are a basic outline of the types of services, parts, and vehicles
we provide.
ECR is primarily a Land-Rover restoration and custom upgrade facility. Opened to the public in 1993, our specialty is Land Rover Defender upgrades, restorations, repairs and custom work. Our Land Rover Defender services range from upgraded engines to interior work, crash damage to rust repair. Periodically we have a few Rovers on hand for sale, and we carry and install a host of Off Road and Expedition upgrades as well as performance modifications.
We build and modify the best Land-Rover Defenders in the world. We strive for quality and attention to detail. We didn't start out wanting to be the biggest shop, just the best, but we are now the largest dedicated Land Rover custom and restoration shop in North America.

PRESS RELEASE 6/4/09:
ECR is proud to announce its new relationship with Safety Devices International Ltd.
We are now the USA authorized sales and installation center for all things Safety Devices.
This top notch company is famous for making safety products that have ranged over the years from the safari cages used on the 1993-1997 NAS Defenders 90s and 110s, to the safety equipment for the Camel Trophy vehicles that conquered remote areas of the world over and over. We will now be stocking, installing and selling via mail order, the entire range of Land Rover Safety Devices products. We will also be working directly with them in order to offer new and exciting products for your Land Rover vehicle in the near future.
PRESS RELEASE 6/5/09:
ECR is proud to announce its new relationship with Elite Automotive Systems International Ltd.
We will now be able to fulfill all the air conditioning needs of all Defender owners, with in stock units. We are the USA authorized sales and installation center for Elite. We have also been working with them to develop a new air conditioning system that ties directly into the NAS EFI system for flawless operation. Defender air conditioning kits for most makes and models, even imported models, will all be available soon.
