Land Rovers For Sale
Sale Rovers

Always up to date:

The Land-Rovers list below for sale at ECR are all are located at our facility. We do not sell Rovers that we have not seen or driven, unlike a number of other on line brokers. We fully inspect the vehicles for any problems and overall condition. We then pass that information on to you, and with our knowledge of Rovers you are assured of "the real story". All of us who work here at ECR have driven for hours to find that a vehicle which was advertised as "restored" was actually far from it. Our goal is to get the right Rover connected with the right buyer. Our goal is to give you an accurate description so you have no hassle buying, and a great Land-Rover experience.

ECR is a licensed Maine State Used Car Dealer.

BUYER BEWARE II!!
A number of Land Rovers on the internet are being advertised as ECR constructed or ECR modified vehicles, when in fact they are not.
Before you buy anything that is claimed to be an ECR vehicle please contact us and we will be happy to give you all the information we have about the vehicle.
Just because it has an ECR decal on it does not mean it was built, serviced or modified in our shop.
We hand out ECR decals for free, so do not assume that if it has our decal that we worked on the vehicle.
Please be careful and research your purchase carefully.

CURRENT INVENTORY:

1968 Land Rover Series IIA Airportable "Lightweight" 88", Turner 2.25HP unleaded, 4 speed with Overdrive, Galvanized coil sprung frame
Something you don't see everyday, this is one of only a few Series IIA military "Lightweights" left. There are a number of Series III Lightweights, but very few Series IIA units. Known as "Lightweights" because the body can be easily taken apart (doors come off, bulkhead top comes off as does the roof and tub side tops). You can quickly turn this truck into the ultimate open air truck to blast around in all summer, then put the body back together for the winter. This Rover was refurbished by us in the early days of ECR and was built on a galvanized coil sprung frame so it has Defender suspension for a better ride and handling and better brakes (disc instead of drum), so you get the best of both worlds: the simple nature of a Series Rover with the ride and ability of a Defender. The truck spent time in SC for a number of years with the client we built it for and then it was sold to a collector in VA. That collector had us repair anything that needed doing and had us install a Turner 2.25HP petrol engine in 2002. That collector rarely drove the vehicle so the engine still has less than 2000 miles since its install. The Rover is 12 volt (some military Rovers are 24 volt) and is upgraded for daily driver use with an Optima battery, alternator conversion and more. It has a roll hoop under the removable top and bench jump seats in the back so it will seat 6 for that trip to the beach or out to the back country. Fitted with period correct Michelin tires that help complete the look, the truck is a very unique piece and you'll be guaranteed never to park next to another one no matter where you go.
$ 17,000.

READY SOON:

1973 Land Rover NAS Series III 88" Station Wagon, 5.0 GT40 V8, NV4500 5 speed, Dana 300 Transfer case
This is a very unique USA spec. Series III. It was fully restored by ECR some years ago and we did everything and more. It has a galvanized coil sprung frame (so it has Defender axles, coil suspension and 4 wheel power disc brakes), new body panels, a Stage 1 style front end to house the mighty quick Ford GT40 V8. This 88 has been in a customer's collection for many years and is now here at ECR being made ready for sale. If you are looking for an older restoration that has old school looks with modern day drivability this is your Rover. High back seats, AM/FM tape, Defender 90 alloy door tops and interior panels, 2 bench jump seats for seating for 6 (with seat belts for all), Galvanized frame, AC, Saudi-spec roof sunshield and more.
More information and pictures as we get it ready to go, for now you can see the original build up images here.
