ECR ROX Defender 90 Tire Carrier Restoration:
Does your spare tire carrier look like this?
All rusted out and peely? If you drive your D90 in the winter, or on the beach, it probably does. This tire carrier is on a medium mile 1995 Defender 90 that is in otherwise good shape, but the tire carrier is dragging the look of the truck down. These parts on a D90 are very prone to rusting and looking bad.
The good news is that a new ECR ROX can solve this problem for you, without your having to go out an buy all new parts. The ECR ROX tire carrier restoration program is a process where you remove your tire carrier parts and send them to ECR.

We then restore your parts and get them back to you asap. That way your D90 is not out of commission for any length of time. The restored parts are rust free and coated properly for long life, much longer than the factory coatings lasted.
The difference in the parts we send back to you is that these pieces have been blasted back to white metal (see the image above), then primed and painted with numerous coats of PPG epoxy primer, and painted no less than 3 coats of PPG Satin Black. This process offers the best rust prevention in the industry, short of galvanizing, and keeps your D90 looking stock, but without the rust.
Here you can see the completed parts installed on a 1994 Defender 90 with all stainless steel hardware. Everything looks new again and works as it was intended to.
