RING PINION SETS:
ECR offers alternative ring and pinion ratios (4.11 and 4.75) to complement the two ratios from Land Rover (3.54 and 4.70). These upgraded gear sets are made to superior specification from high grade materials and have been proven to be durable even when subjected to the toughest tests with lockers and huge tires. The ring gears are made to fit the carrier without the use of spacers or shims or any drilling. The ring gear fixing bolts are 10mm in place of the 3/8 " stock, this reduces the bolt hole clearance to help prevent the crown wheel working loose. The pinion is supplied with a 24 spline shank to use the late type flange and provision is made to allow fitting of a castle nut with a split pin. Ring gear sets are as seen below.
ECR also offers full mail order differential set up and rebuilding on a quick turn around basis. Send use you standard 3.54 differentials and we'll install 4.11s or even add a locker for you and turn it around quickly so your Rover spends little time out of commission. Make sure that your gears are set up right for long life, have ECR do it, or we'll be glad to fit any of these products to your Rover in our full service facility
