1967 Series IIA NADA Station Wagon
This 109 was a very nice rust free NADA Wagon, but it had the typical2.6 engine problems and the owner neeeded more power, better brakes andhe wanted a long term Rover. The solution... a new galv. coil frmae with4 wheel disc brakes, a 4.0 liter engine and a complete refurbsih from ECR.
Here you can see the body removed in our frame swap system. This rust freebody needed little work so it will be placed back on the new frame as soonas the other modifications are done.
In this image you can see the 4.0 engine installed and all the other customwork needed to fit it. Custom linkages, radiator and more. You can alsosee the front coil suspension and disc brakes. A world of differnce fromstock 109 brakes!
This is the completed 4.0 in line 6 install. Notice the details that setapart an ECR install. This engine looks like it belongs there, eventhoughit is a transplant. We can install any engine combination you desire, justlet us know how we can help.
This is the completed coil 109 project. Ready for a trip across town, oran expedition across rugged terrain. With its coil sprung galvanized chassis, larger engine, disc brakes and more you can bet it will be ready for anythingyou can dish out.
